On an embryonic journey
Through an embryonic sac
I have peace and I have love
There's nothing that I lack

In my mother's womb I lie
Patiently awaiting dawn
When, to her, I shall be born
After she and he have spawned

Though my mind is in this limbo
There my body starts to form
Deep within her womb I lie
Safe from lightning, safe from storm

Here I wait for dawn to come
And the hour when I'll be born
Into life I first shall tread
Feet behind; in front, my head
