The rain is falling, I can't see anything
I don't notice the wetness of my clothes
I want to see your face before my own to hide my woes

The rain is falling, but I don't feel a thing
I don't notice the puddles beneath my feet
I want to see your face before my own, here, in the street

I want to see your face to give me hope, cheer, and love
I want to see your face to clear the sky above

The rain is falling, i don't care that it is
I don't notice the tears upon my cheeks
I want to see your face before my own, I can't be weak

I want to see your face to give me love, compassion
I want to see your face, I've come to this conclusion

I want to see your face
