I was there when you were born
Felt your fears within the womb
I'll be with you till the end
To the dark of Death's cold tomb

As a child, you feared the dark
Felt alone and so unloved
But, on you, I've placed My mark
Sent my Spirit from above

In your teens, you searched for love
Went through trials and pains untold
I can free you from the scars
If My hand you'll take and hold

Now, full grown, those fears are shown
In the way you live your life
I can free you from the pain
I can ease the worldly strife

Just reach out and understand
That in Me you will have peace
Just reach out and take my hand
Love and joy, your pain will cease
