I see the lights across the harbour
They beckon me to wander home
I try to move, but I am weary
I want to sleep
For monsters also weep

I hear the voice of someone calling
Asking me to wander home
I try to answer, but I can't speak
So, like the sheep
Do monsters also weep

I was made from metal and wires and sound
Each one plugged within the circuits round
That abound

Within the midst of all these switches
I compute the answers true
But I am weary, and need to rest
What's sown must reap
For monsters also weep
