OLYMPIA

There were once gods in Olympia
There was I, too, in Olympia
I bust a peasant full of grace
Wanting nothing but good for the human race

Without a tiring pace
Though old age lined my face
I, wanting nothing

Through giving to them, I would
Be everything that I should
I, wanting nothing

That they are feeling gay
On this new, cheerful day
I, wanting nothing

There were once gods in Olympia
There was I, too, in Olympia
I bust a peasant full of grace
Wanting nothing but good for the human race
