Persephone is his bride
Pluto, then, shall be my guide
Ever wand'ring through the vale
On the wings of Death I ride

Many creatures there do dwell
In this strange world known as Hell
There I sit and contemplate
On the wings of Death I fell

Still I wonder what went wrong
With the people in the throng
Ever shall I deign to sing
On the wings of Death, my song

When I died, the world withdrew
I had touched what was taboo
Still the trouble had to chance
On the wings of Death I flew

Now, in Hades, they will flog
I who once was mysta-gog
I had given fire to men
On the wings of Death befog
