Suckle your son on your breast now laid bare
Switch off your mind, it's too painful to bear
Suckle your son, he alone must take care
Notwithstanding your beauty
Don't try combing his hair

Suckle your son as he grows to a man
He is still faithful to you, oh woman
Suckle your son and take care if you can
Help him find what he's seeking
Ask him why he still ran

Suckle your son, give him all that he needs
And when you're finished, you know he'll succeed
Suckle your son, and then wish him god-speed
Just remember to tell him
To never concede
