I traveled to the planets where alien life prevailed
And, married there a princess whose face was never veiled
Oh, my love, Tangerine, ne'er such beauty have I seen

We passed so many systems where brilliant stars did shine
Upon our love-filled starships that, now, must ever be mine
Oh, my love, Tangerine, with such love I've never been

Our young girls numbered seven, and grew to beauteous height
They married several princes beneath the Tower of Light
Oh, my love, Tangerine, I recall the things I've seen

And now, the past's behind us, the future lies before
We travel once again, dear, to distant planet shores
Oh, my love, Tangerine, such a short life it has been
