If you need a place to go and think of all the men who've tried to bring you harm
If you need a place to go and hide away from the troubles of their charms
Then, you can go to the temple of the mind

It's a place where you can hide from all the men who've tried to make you cry
It's a place where you can hide from the pain when you feel that you could die
So, you can go to the temple of the mind

You can pass down halls of splendoured glory
You can see all the girls who've come to hide
And you'll think, and you'll cry, and you'll see
That, here, you will ever want to abide
In this, the temple of the mind

You can come and find
Feels the bonds unbind
With peace you can dine
Where all the hallways wind
In the temple of the mind
