Venusberg awaits you as your ship prepares to land
Relatives will greet you and they'll shake you by the hand
The stars above blink brightly as you settle on the dust
But, remember to forgive them if you must

Venusberg will beckon as your ship draws near the port
Sixteen M-Computers will advise if you need abort
The cover portholes open and your solar engines flare
Then your starship stands so quiet on the misty, desert bare

Venusberg -- that you recall -- hasn't changed much since you left
There still stands the statue that you'd placed within the cleft
The aircars hover overhead, the skyramps beam so bright
As the sun begins to rise, darkness passes with the night
